FirstHealth Becomes MFA Patron

The Medical Fitness Association is proud to announce the advancement of First Health of the Carolina’s membership status from a single Facility Membership to Patron Status with a total of six (6) facilities.

John Caliri, Director of Health & Fitness at FirstHealth of the Carolinas says, “This was a great time to grow with the MFA, as many new, innovative and positive improvements are happening within the medical fitness industry. The Medical Fitness Association is leading the way and FirstHealth wanted to take the steps necessary to be at the forefront of all the excellent education and membership benefits provided. ”

First Health of the Carolina’s is a charter member of MFA (previously known as the Association for Hospital Health & Fitness Centers) since 1991. The Pinehurst Facility joined MFA in 1995 and has been an active member since. The newest facilities just added under their Patron status include:

FirstHealth Center for Health and Fitness – Southern Pines
FirstHealth Center for Health and Fitness – Raeford
FirstHealth Center for Health and Fitness – Richmond
FirstHealth Center for Health and Fitness – Troy
FirstHealth Center for Health and Fitness – Sanford

Laura Whiteside, Facility Director at FirstHealth’s Raeford’s facility stated “We are extremely excited here in Raeford to become a Patron member with the Medical Fitness Association! We are honored to be in this partnership and are looking forward to all the things we can both offer each other while taking medical fitness to the next level.”
