DISTINGUISHED ACHIEVEMENT AWARD WINNERS
 

Richmond, VA - January 18, 2008 - The Medical Fitness Association's 2007 Distinguished Achievement Awards recognize leaders and innovators in the medical health and fitness sector. The awards highlight the sector's growing contribution to promoting overall health, fighting obesity, and integrating clinical programs into a comprehensive approach to fitness and rehabilitation.


2007 Category Winners:

The Distinguished Achievement Awards were presented during the Medical Fitness Association's 13th Annual Conference in Orlando, Florida. Members from all industry segments explored topics such as facility certification, disease management, and using outcomes data to improve quality of life. The keynote addresses were given by "Dot" Richardson, MD, Vice Chair, President's Council on Physical Fitness & Sports and Lindsay "Mac" Robinson, VP, American Hospital Association.
