Ken Baldwin, Associate Professor (SUNY), Certified Posture Specialist, Executive Director of the National Posture Institute and IDEA’s Personal Trainer of the Year Award Recipient will be hosting an educational webinar titled "Analyzing and Assessing Posture and Body Alignment”.  The webinar will address the importance of assessing and correcting posture and body alignment for all ages and health/fitness levels.   Attendees will learn to assess and educate themselves in all areas of posture and body alignment and have a better understanding of the injuries and factors that lead to poor posture.  The lecture develops a logical flow and sequence to describe, demonstrate, teach and analyze posture in an easy to follow manner.  

 

In this webinar, Professor Baldwin will:

 

  • Review the importance of assessing and correcting posture and body alignment in your clients/patients of all ages and health/fitness levels. 
  • Teach the key factors that lead to poor alignment
  • Analyze key landmarks to consider when performing a posture assessment

 

 

 

Ken Baldwin is a full-time Associate Professor, Certified Posture Specialist™, and the Executive Director for The National Posture Institute (NPI). Ken is the Senior Editor, content expert, and lead author for ACSM's Resources for the Personal Trainer Textbook (2nd Edition), former Chair of IDEA's National Personal Trainer Committee, and served on national committees with organizations that include the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), AAHPERD, and the Medical Fitness Association (MFA).
