Central Regional Pre-Conference Medical Fitness Workshop

Title: Hands On Personal Training Workshop

Location: MFA Certified Facility, TriHealth Fitness & Health Pavilion

Objective 1: 

Provide hands on training to identify proper movement patterns when performing strength training on resistant machines and free weight exercises.

Participants will observe and identify improper movement patterns that cause dysfunction.

Objective 2: 

Demonstrate corrective exercises to improve movement pattern efficiency. 

Participants will have opportunity to develop and create methods to correct dysfunctional movement patterns.


Objective 3:

Develop progression of exercises to improve the client’s current fitness status and challenging the routine.  

Design multi plane exercises that improve functional qualities to enhance the core.    

This will allow participants to learn how effectively implement multi-plane exercises that improve the clients’ strength and movement quality potentially eliminating the compensation being addressed.
