This session will cover the changing healthcare landscape while defining clinical integration in a health and wellness center setting. Those who attend this presentation will see and review the benefits and challenges of this model while learning about the strategies and tactics for success.   • Share in-wall to wall-free wellness access models that define the future of healthcare delivery.
  • Introduce key design and operational elements that support optimal business performance and health outcomes.

Faculty: Douglas Ribley, Senior Vice President, Health & Wellness Services, Akron General Health & Wellness Center and Susan Allen, Vice President, TC Architects

BIOs:

Doug Ribley studied at Cortland State University and received his bachelors in education and his master’s in exercise physiology. A true pioneer in the health and wellness industry with over 32 years of experience. He has been an active member of the Medical Fitness Association for over a decade. His speaking experience has reached thousands of medical fitness professionals with his numerous national conference keynote and general session presentations. Doug is currently Senior Vice President of Health & Wellness Services at Akron General Health System.  He was instrumental in the development, and has been responsible for the day-to-day operation of the award winning Akron General Health & Wellness Center-West located in Akron, Ohio.

Susan Allen received her bachelors of Architecture from Kent State University. With over 30 years of experience, she works both as an architect and interior designer. She brings with her a unique background with experience in planning, design, programming, interior design and architecture and construction administration. She is a LEED Accredited Professional and a member of the U.S. Green Building Council.
