Webinar: How’s & Why’s of MFA Facility Certification

Learning Objectives:

Learn how your facility can improve its performance through the facility certification process

Understand the overall process of certification and the steps it takes to prepare for certification

Review and become familiar with a representative sample of the Facility Standards and Guidelines focusing on the Pass/Fail Standards

 

Brief Overview:

This webinar will highlight the MFA Standards and Guidelines for Medical Fitness Facilities. An overview of the certification process, a review of the benefits of certification and a discussion on a representative sample of the 148 guidelines will help you gain a better understanding of how to prepare for the MFA Facility Certification process, what to expect during the certification site visit, and why your facility should consider making the commitment to become certified. Hear firsthand from facility managers who have been through the process and how their facilities have improved their operations, become better  and more fully integrated into their health system and have improved communication and coordination between staff and members.

Continuing Education Credits (CECs):

This webinar has been approved for one contact hour by ACSM, AKTA and MFA.  Current members of the association receive complimentary credits after completing post-webinar survey. Non-members may purchase them for $25 after completing post-webinar survey. Payment must be received before CEC can be issued.

Certificate of Attendance is free to MFA members. Non-members may receive a Certificate of Completion for free.  This Certificate acknowledges attendance at this webinar, but may not be used to petition for any educational credit without the payment of CEC Fees for non-MFA members.

Archives:

Current members of the association receive access to archived webinars with audio recordings within 72 hours of the live event. Members must login to the website to view these archives located under the Education Tab. Non-members may purchase the audio recording for $25. Payment must be received before recording can be issued.

Everyone who registers and attends this webinar will receive a copy of the presentation in PDF format.
