Meet Amanda Meschi, FMFA
For 10 years Amanda Meschi has been a proud member and public speaker for the Medical Fitness Association. Her involvement includes working as an MFA Examiner and serving as past Chair for the Certification Committee and the North East Region Chair. Recently she was inducted as a Fellow of the Medical Fitness Association and is looking forward to attending the MFA National Conference in November.
In addition to her involvement in the MFA, Amanda recently became a member of the American College of Sports Medicine, Exercise is Medicine Committee. She also holds a Master’s degree in Exercise Science and several certifications including ACSM CPT and FMS.
Amanda’s career in fitness started in 2005 with the Inspira Fitness Connection in southern New Jersey. In 2009 she lead her organization through their first ever MFA accreditation. Currently Amanda manages two fitness locations of the Inspira Health Network, where she diligently works to incorporate medical fitness as a primary service line of the organization. In addition to medical fitness Amanda’s passion also lies in creating employee health initiatives and providing opportunities to create a healthy work environment for the entire organization.
As a health and fitness enthusiast, Amanda has competed in several figure competitions and enjoys helping her personal training clients reach their personal health and fitness goals. As a new fiancée, Amanda’s current fitness goal includes looking her best for her upcoming wedding. (Editor’s Note: Congratulations, Amanda!)
When Amanda is not working out she can be found participating in a variety of outdoor activities from surfing and kayaking to skiing and horseback riding. Amanda believes that MFA is a primary resource in providing the tools necessary for people to manage their personal health and wellness.
