Meet Beth Picillo
Beth Picillo is the Corporate / Medical Wellness Manager for The Atlantic Club in both Manasquan and Red Bank, NJ.
Set on a 44 acre campus the Atlantic Club’s flagship facility in Manasquan is home to a 100,000 square foot fitness center complete with a skillmill performance center, yoga, pilates and spin studios along with indoor and outdoor aquatics complex, USTA Tennis Center, 10,000 square foot Milagro Spa & Salon, Atlantis Preparatory School, Parisi Speed School and the Turf Training Center. The Atlantic Club is a Medical Fitness Certified Facility.
Beth manages the corporate and medical community outreach for all of the medical fitness programs at The Atlantic Club. This includes p.r.e.p (physician referred exercise program), Exercising with Cancer, Delay the Disease, Junior Fit and Healthy Care. Beth promotes the benefits of living well and offers the community programs to help them live their best lives. Prior to the medical outreach position, Beth ran the p.r.e.p program at the Red Bank location for three years. Beth worked hands on with patients to help them create healthier lifestyles by incorporating fitness and nutrition into their daily routines. Beth is also nationally certified personal trainer and group exercise instructor.
Beth has a background in marketing and public relations. Prior to joining The Atlantic Club, Beth spent several years working in the publishing industry in New York City. Beth worked as a publicist for Simon and Shuster, a publisher of fiction and nonfiction books. She was also a publicist for Abrams, a subsidiary of La Martiniere Groupe. Abrams is a publisher of high quality art, photography, fashion, interior design, and pop culture type books. Beth holds a Bachelor of Arts from Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ.
Beth has a true passion for health and fitness which is why she turned her passion into a career. Beth enjoys helping people make exercise fun as well as educating the community on the endless benefits of physical activity and proper nutrition. Beth is an advocate for health and wellness and has volunteered her time at events such as the American Heart Association Shoreline Heart Walk and other local community events.
Beth resides at the Jersey Shore with her two sons. She believes an active family is a happy family. Beth and her children spend time together outdoors biking, playing basketball, paddle boarding and going to the beach. Beth loves to run and strength train regularly but also incorporates mindful activities such as yoga and meditation into her wellness practice. Beth has a holistic approach towards life and believes you have to take care of mind, body and spirit.
