Meet Mark Siebert
Say hi to Mark Siebert, Client Success Manager at Active Wellness! Active Wellness provides the medical fitness industry with designing and managing fitness centers, delivering medical-fitness integration programs, optimizing profitable operations, and partnering with hospital administrators and physicians to increase wellness for patients and caregivers. Active Wellness was founded in 2014 by an established team of fitness industry experts.
Mark earned his degree in Exercise Science with a Specialization in Health Promotion & Fitness Management from Rowan University. He has been working with Active Wellness for two years. Prior to his role as Client Success Manager with Active Wellness, Mark held positions in the health and wellness industry such as: Fitness Manager, Operations Manager, and General Manager.
We caught up with Mark recently and here is what he had to say.
What do you enjoy most about your work?
What I thoroughly enjoy the most about my role is having the opportunity to sit across the table with a wide variety of great organizations throughout the country. I get to hear firsthand what these companies are most proud of and the areas of opportunity where Active Wellness can provide solutions. I truly enjoy listening and understanding the history of each organization and their vision for the future.
What are you most proud of when you talk about Active Wellness?
I am most proud of Active Wellness for our company culture. From fun and energetic video conference calls, to great in-person meetings and events, Active’s culture of “family and people first” is unique, refreshing and inspiring to be a part of. Our internal team’s ability to support each other for the greater mission and shared vision is inspiring to me.
Why do you support the Medical Fitness Association as an Industry Partner?
As an organization, we support MFA because our medical programming, consulting services, and approach to management can support the national effort to extend the continuum of care while reaching a broader audience. It’s an added bonus that the folks at MFA are wonderful to work with!
What do you like to do outside of work?
Outside of work, I can be found chasing my one-year-old daughter around the house while competing with my wife to see who can build the highest block tower for our daughter to knock down and do it again! Outside of my family time, nights and weekends I can be found somewhere in the Rockies representing the #liveactively lifestyle and mindset!
Are you involved in any charity or community work?
Each summer I volunteer for Boulder EXPAND (Exciting Programs Adventures and New Dimensions) and its Adaptive Waterski Program serving individuals with physical disabilities.
Thank you, Mark and enjoy living actively in the Rockies!
