DENVER, CO. — Ohlson Lavoie Collaborative (OLC) is pleased to announce the grand
opening of the Health and Wellness Center at Florida Hospital Wesley Chapel on January 6,
2013. OLC designed the 44,800 square-foot wellness, health and fitness center to include
medical office space, dual entrances for patients and members, Fresh Fit Cafe, express lockers, child care, locker rooms, a 25-meter, 4-lane lap pool and warm-water therapy pool. The second floor includes a walk/jog track full-service, conference rooms, physical therapy/clinical space, and group exercise.
Wesley Chapel Health and Wellness Center’s goal is for members to achieve an optimal balance of the body, mind and spirit. The Center’s programming is based on the American College of Sports Medicine's "Exercise is Medicine” concept which is supported by a well-educated and fully capable staff. The center features the largest TechnoGym community health center in North America a large variety of classes per week for both exercise and nutrition, "green revolution” cycling studio, and a "wellness key” which tracks member progress.
Construction was completed by Brasfield Gorrie in 8 months. Florida Hospital Wesley Chapel invested more than $5 million to develop this member-centered, health and wellness experience. The development of this project was managed through Alter+Care, with whom OLC has worked for more than 15 years. This is an exciting time for Wesley Chapel as they join the wellness revolution.
