About Key Health Institute - Key Health Institute™, LLC (KHI) has developed an innovative preventative healthcare model with the capacity to meet the needs of the evolving healthcare industry. This model integrates the most advanced and proven components of a successful Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) clinic with additional synergistic services to offer a complete physician-owned, preventative care facility. The KHI model will partner with physicians and healthcare professionals to build and merge the future of preventative healthcare and medically integrated wellness with tomorrow’s technology. It is positioned to address the needs of employees, to meet the wellness goals of their employers and provide verifiable data to qualify for health premium incentives. KHI proposes a Patient-Centered Medical Home, Key Clinic, where physician owners use proprietary patient health assessments and evidence-based medicine to prescribe Health Improvement Plans for their patients. The Health Improvement Plan will be carried out in the co-located Key Wellness Center and Key Physical Therapy facility. An advanced electronic health technology system will manage patient health records and monitors progress on each patient’s health improvement plan. Each patient’s progress will be available to the physician team for monitoring and updates. It also provides the evidence of compliance needed by employers and employees to receive the premium incentives of the Affordable Care Act. Nutrition, exercise and other health education classes are offered to assist patients in improving their lifestyle and meeting the goals of their Health Improvement Plan.

According to Rick Mason, Chief Development Officer for Key Health Institute, "the KHI model creates a high-value, one-stop, healthcare shop for today’s multitasking individual. There are many advantages over other medically integrated wellness centers, health clubs and physical therapy clinics. The most evident is the co-location of synergistic business centers needed to prescribe and implement the Health Improvement Plan. Others include a healthier and more productive workforce for local employers, financial incentives for employers and employees who meet health care goals and a new thriving business for the community”.
