Meet Hannah Schultz
Hannah was born and raised in California. She took a hiatus from the West Coast to attend Smith College in Massachusetts and The London School of Economics. After college she worked as a full-time program director for a children’s summer camp which brought her back to California. In 2003, she was asked to come aboard at the company her dad founded, Health and Nutrition Technology (HNT), and she hasn’t looked back since. She continued to work on her bona fides adding a MBA in 2011 from University of San Francisco. Today she serves as CEO of HNT.
Hannah thrives on the opportunities that small businesses provide to wear many different hats. Her expertise is in operations and planning. She enjoys working with HNT partners to help them achieve their goals. She’s been involved with the Medical Fitness Association for many years as a Best Practice Partner and presenter at conferences. She served as a California State Co-Captain from 2015-2017. In 2017 she became the West Region Chair.
She serves on the Board of Directors for the Max and Marion Caldwell Foundation. Additionally she volunteers as an Alumnae Admissions Coordinator for Smith College. Hannah is passionate about wellness and teaching kids to cook and eat healthy food that tastes great. From 2010-2011 she had the opportunity to consult with the Chez Panisse Foundation to improve access to edible education nationwide. On the weekends she’s generally found exploring her Santa Cruz, CA backyard- hiking in the redwoods or playing at the beach with her five-year old.
