Meet Olivia Blosch
Olivia was born and raised in Berlin-Germany and move to the United States ten (10) years ago. She now resides in Oklahoma City where she is employed by Exos as a management employee for Mercy Hospital’s Fitness Center. She holds two degrees in Foreign Language Correspondence and a Bachelor degree in Business & Health Prevention. She currently oversees all paid programs, marketing (website/FB/etc) for the center, the “integrative therapy” team and serves as the formal liaison with Mercy Hospital.
Professionally, Olivia leads the best practices & processes committee for Mercy and sits on several best practices committees for EXOS nationally. She is studying and planning to become a Lean 6 Sigma yellow/green/black belt within the coming months.
Personally, she is training for the upcoming OKC Memorial Marathon on April 29. Olivia enjoys volunteering and giving back to the community through her volunteer work at the local Animal Shelter and at a local homeless shelter. When she is not working or volunteering, she loves to travel and live life to its fullest!
Olivia has been a member of MFA since 2015 and was recognized in 2017 with the South Central Region Rising Star Award. She serves as a member and co-leader of the facility’s Medical Advisory Board since 2015. She has assumed responsibility for the facility’s Safety and Risk Oversight to ensure compliance with the MFA Standards and Guidelines for Medical Fitness Facilities. She developed and launched a clinically integrated program entitled, “Upgrade your Life” and is responsible for establishing good communications and collaboration with local healthcare providers and the community.
Working collaboratively with their Physical Therapy department to become the first facility in the nation to certify both Physical Therapists and facility aquatics staff in Peyow Aqua Pilates to help their patients improve balance and flexibility while creating significant unbudgeted group exercise revenue for the facility. This program allowed Exos/Mercy to become the first facility in the Exos family to offer a complete aquatic “continuum of care” referral program as a step down from Physical Therapy.
