Urban Poling

Urban Poling Inc. is an international provider of Urban and Activator® poles and programs: specialized for wellness & rehabilitation and supported by accredited education for turn-key community activation. Our innovative Activator® poles, designed by an OT and gerontologist, help to improve mobility, stability, and overall quality of life for all ages and stages but most especially for individuals with balance disorders, neurological conditions, arthritis, and those in post-surgical rehabilitation.

Fitness facilities have implemented Urban Poling Activator® Programs to support fall prevention programs, pre-post surgical programs, cancer wellness programs, numerous Parkinson’s Programs, seated and standing exercise programs, walking programs, as for general fitness – “Polercize®” and to augment existing programs as well. Urban Poling Inc has partnerships with reputable organizations like Rock Steady Boxing, PWR!, LSVT Global, Dance for PD, VEDA, the Arthritis Foundation and the like all in support of rehabilitation and wellness for those living with chronic conditions like Parkinson’s as well as other conditions which impact balance and gait.

As with every good program, it all begins with proper education of the professionals who will implement and lead programming. Urban Poling Inc courses are CEU approved by Physical Therapy State Boards across the USA, the American College of Sports Medicine as well as ACE.
