                    Mariann Murphy started her career at the UN working for UNICEF in NYC. With a passion for overseas relief and development, she then spent 12 years working for Catholic Relief Services. In 1999, Mariann relocated to NH to join Pax World Funds in Portsmouth as the Vice President of Marketing. During her nine years at Pax World Funds, Mariann also served on the Board of the NH Businesses for Social Responsibility, a business network organization, including two years as Board Co-Chair. In mid-2008, she joined Huggins Hospital in Wolfeboro to create the first Marketing Department in the hospital’s 100-year history. In 2015, Mariann became the first Executive Director of the James W. Foley Legacy Foundation. She relocated to Whispering Pines, NC in mid-2018 and began working with the Medical Fitness Association, first as the Marketing Director and currently as the Vice President. Mariann holds a BA in French from Ithaca College. She spent her junior year in Avignon, France at La Faculté des Arts et des Humaines. She received her MSB from the Johns Hopkins University.
