Webinar: Converting Patients to Members
Through Exercise is Medicine, we receive approximately 200 referrals a month. Of those 200 referrals a month, we will see approximately 100 patients. Of those 100 patients, we have trended, for years, at approximately a 40% rate to membership. We addressed the concern that many healthcare practitioners have about “selling” by adjusting the mindset and approach. This session will explain that approach and why it has been successful.

Speaker: Tim Smith, Clinical Program Manager at FirstHealth Fitness
Tim Smith holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and a Master’s degree in Exercise Science from Appalachian State University. He is a Certified Exercise Specialist through the American College of Sports Medicine and first started at FirstHealth of the Carolinas in the 1990s, working in Cardiac Rehabilitation. Prior to his current role, he worked as a Clinical Manager and Exercise Specialist. Smith now serves as the Clinical Program Manager for Exercise is Medicine at FirstHealth Fitness.
