Adherence is the 'silent killer' of medical fitness outcomes. While 'Exercise is Medicine,' the dosage is often too high for deconditioned patients, leading to overwhelm and dropout. In this session, Seven Movements presents the science of 'micro-dosing', prescribing frequent, short bursts of functional movement to regulate metabolism and manage pain without the barrier of a 60-minute workout.

Attendees will learn to utilize the science of exercise micro-dosing to create accessible interventions that build client confidence. Join us to discover how shrinking the exercise dose can expand your reach, improving both patient health outcomes and facility retention rates.

Learning Objectives
1. Evaluate the efficacy of "exercise micro-dosing" (movement snacking) as a tool to improve metabolic health and adherence in populations resistant to standard duration-based exercise protocols.

2. Apply the functional framework of exercise micro-dosing to design scalable, low-barrier activity prescriptions that accommodate patients with limited mobility or chronic conditions. Demonstrate how the concept of exercise micro-dosing facilitates skill development and builds movement confidence by breaking down complex functional patterns into accessible, scalable progressions.

3. Integrate "movement snacking" protocols into facility programming and workforce wellness initiatives to combat sedentary behavior and improve organizational health culture.

Speakers: John Sinclair and Dan Tatton, Co-Founders of Seven Movements

John Sinclair (left) is the Co-Founder and Chief Movement Engineer of Seven Movements, where he leads the development of "micro-dosing" protocols designed to manage chronic disease and metabolic syndromes.  widely recognized as a master programmer in the global fitness industry, John serves as the Director of Programming for the Institute of Motion (IoM), where he has architected education and training solutions for  industry giants such as Nike, Equinox, 24 Hour Fitness, and Technogym.

A Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and Medical Exercise Specialist (MES), John holds a  unique ability to bridge the gap between high-performance athletics and clinical rehabilitation. His expertise  lies in designing exercise interventions that are safe enough for deconditioned patients yet effective enough to drive measurable physiological change.

Dan Tatton (right) is the Co-Founder and CEO of Seven Movements, where he focuses on the practical implementation of health behaviors in workforce and clinical settings. With 16 years of experience as a health coach and serial entrepreneur, Dan specializes in removing the barriers to exercise adherence. He is the architect behind the "micro-dosing" delivery model, which solves the retention crisis in medical fitness by  making movement accessible to the 80% of the population who find standard gym protocols intimidating. Dan also works directly with facility directors to integrate hybrid digital-physical wellness solutions.
