Welcome to the MFA COVID-19 Resource Page

During this unprecedented time of business closures, physical distancing, and stay-at-home orders, we are reminded that we are here to support each other. Here at the Medical Fitness Association, we will use this space to post resources, ideas, and updates to support you during this time.

If you have any questions or comments, please contact Mariann Murphy, Director of Marketing, at mariann.murphy@medicalfitness.org or call us at 910-420-8610.

MFA Surveys on COVID Issues

In this space, we will post surveys that we have conducted on various issues impacting our member facilities.

REOPENING

As the time approaches to reopen our fitness facilities, it brings a wide variety of considerations. We won’t simply reopen to business as usual. These are uncharted waters but, as an Association, we can navigate them together!

We will be posting resources as they become available to share with you.

REOPENING GUIDELINES

These guidelines were submitted to the Centers for Disease Control and reviewed by their subject matter experts. They have indicated that our recommended approach is both safe and comprehensive. In some cases, it goes beyond the CDC recommendations, but they were pleased by our overall approach.
