Summary
While members join fitness facilities full of enthusiasm and motivated to work out the reality is that many do not develop the behaviors required to maintain a routine of regular exercise. Joining with lofty goals but little real understanding of what’s actually required to start and maintain a routine of regular exercise these members become frustrated and disillusioned and stop attending very quickly.
While the research on Exercise Adherence is extensive and has produced a range of models to follow it is often difficult to apply these frameworks to fitness facilities based on the resources available. This webinar will focus off the approaches that are easiest to intergrade into a health facility that will deliver the biggest impact.

1. Identify where behavioral change approaches can be deployed to improve exercise adherence and increase retention
2. Recognize the value of simple conversational techniques to build member confidence and competence
3. Link behaviors to clinical measures to provide evidence of effectiveness
